Cloward and Piven at our Southern Border

illegal-immigrant-children-21The idea of Cloward and Piven was designed to collapse the welfare system by over populating the use of welfare, in an extreme way. This would cause a collapse, because the government could not possibly pay or take care of the demand. The end result is a socialist, government paid system that pays everyone fairly and creates a people dependent on the government far worse than it is already. Providing a government dependent annual income for all.
What is going down at our borders is a crisis that is reminiscent of the Cloward and Piven strategy. The open borders on our southern states are already a problem. People coming to work in America to live a better life than they had in their own country. I understand this, and even can tolerate it if there weren’t repercussions to their actions. The repercussions are a slave labor, where the people are treated bad, paid worse, and their very lives threatened by deportation. If the government would concentrate more on the companies using the labor, and punishing them, maybe there would be less of a migration to the north.
However, with the lack of clarity from our own government, and the proclaimed free welfare and path to free citizenship, many people from not only Mexico, but South America are coming to the U.S. There are thousands of children sent from Central and South America, traveling dangerously to the North, in hopes of having their children become citizens, and possibly bringing money to their families, or even citizenship for themselves. Our own government not only welcomes them, but is allowing them to have attorneys to help process them into citizenship. This influx of people will certainly create a strain on the already taxed welfare system.
The increase from the south, and the increase from refugees from the Middle East will certainly create problems for us all in the future. If the system doesn’t break, it will certainly be primed for the next crisis that will forever put it over the edge. Going against the refugee’s is not politically correct as well, so even those who disagree with our open arm system, are afraid to be too vocally against it to retain their own political power.

In Arizona, they are very familiar with this problem.

“Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer responded angrily to these Cloward-Piven tactics, as the feds begin dumping illegal immigrants from Texas into her state without warning her first.  When she complained, the feds said they have no intention of stopping.

Fox News: “Federal officials told Brewer Friday that the practice will continue for the foreseeable future, and this weekend more than 1,000 illegal immigrant children will be “dumped” in Arizona. Adults and family units will also arrive, though Brewer was not told how many, her office said.”

“This is a crisis of the federal government’s creation, and the fact that the border remains un-secure  now apparently intentionally – while this operation continues full-steam ahead is deplorable,” said Brewer.  Exactly, Governor.  Just wait until you’re told you must comply with various Washington directives in order to receive federal assistance for the man-made humanitarian crisis that just got dumped in Arizona’s lap.”

Government Benefits Paid Out to Almost 50% of Citizens

I found a very interesting article from Personal Liberty Digest.
“Almost one-third of those receiving government benefits — 49.9 million — collected Social Security. That is the government’s huge Ponzi scheme that steals from the workers to give to retirees. For those who retired prior to 2000, it was a great deal. Workers who retired in 1960 paid on average $36,000 in Social Security taxes and received lifetime benefits of $259,000. Those who retired in 1980 paid an average of $192,000 in Social Security taxes and received $452,000 in benefits. The average 2010 retiree had paid $558,000 in Social Security taxes but the expected lifetime outlay will be only $555,000. Projections for the 2030 retiree are for lifetime benefits of $699,000 on Social Security taxes of $796,000.”

Read the entire article, it is very interesting.

MSNBC Host Dylan Ratigan Epic Rant on the Government Shutdown

I have never seen a point so well put as this was on the current Government shutdown. The country is being destroyed by both Republicans and Democrats, bent on power and corruption. They no longer work for the people who elected them, save a few bold men.

An Interview with Frances Fox Piven and OWS

Frances Fox Piven’s fame has escalated from the Occupy Wall Street, and her fame from Glenn Beck. It is interesting how she has capitalized on her Glenn Beck fame, and the rally against her. Occupy Wall Street fizzled into a whisper of discontent, filled with inner bickering for power along with out right destruction. The idea of teaching debt management is not a bad idea, and teaching responsibility is great also, however, I don’t see that being taught as opposed to open rebellion to the responsibility of the choices of people who have debt.

Frances Fox Piven has pimped herself from the movement, almost reliving her days of protests and rebellion. As always, she is hoping for her change of the government in America, and her Cloward and Piven strategy where the financial ability of the government will be over thrown and cause a new movement if social justice and equality. Her take on predatory capitalists, it is interesting to see Piven’s true belief in teaching people to refuse to pay and honor the debt that people have incurred from those unscrupulous lenders.

It is interesting to see the old protestors of the past trying to install themselves in to the spoiled, self indulgent protestors of today. Bill Ehers, Piven, Van Jones, all were looking at the movement as a way to either stroke their ego, or use it as a way to further their own political goals. Frances Fox Piven is one of these, and capitalizing financially as well. I am curious if she is donating her profits to the collective….
